Parents invitation for CNA meeting

Dear HST Parents,

Many of you who attended Title I Parent Meeting in October 5, 2017 may recall the Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA) Committees. I had briefly explained the purpose of these committees and invited parents to sign up. I wanted to thank the parents who volunteered for these committees.  To reiterate, each year Harmony School of Technology administrators, teachers, parents and students meet together in a series of CNA committees to discuss and provide feedback about the areas of strengths and areas of improvement in our school. Right now, we are in the process of completing these committees. Please come, join in one of these committees, and let us hear your valuable opinions/suggestions.

How Many Participants in Each Committee? What Are the Meeting Dates?

 

Typical CNA Committee has 4 -10 participants meets about 1 to 1.5 hours (early in the morning or in the afternoon). All CNA committee meetings are planned to take place in February. The dates may range from Monday, Feb 5 through Monday, Feb 12. If you know for sure that you are available that week, please volunteer!

 

How to be a Volunteer for a CNA Committee?

 

Please email me at dsuslu@harmonytx.org. Provide me with a name, current phone number, and email address. Lastly, please include the name of committee in which you would prefer to volunteer. You can volunteer for multiple committees.

 

How to Prepare for CNA Committee Meeting?

 

Relevant paperwork and data resource for the CNA meeting will be provided to you couple of days before the meeting. You can bring these documents to the meeting and refer them while contributing your feedback. Please return them at the end of the committee meetings.
