Dear HST Parents/Guardians,

We want to invite you to HST’s parent-teacher conferences tomorrow, Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Parent Conferences are IN-PERSON and held on a first-come, first-serve basis. We are respectfully requesting that all one-to-one conversations be limited to 15 minutes. We encourage students to participate in the conference process. Please invite your child to be a part of the conversation with you and the teachers.

If you cannot attend parent-teacher conferences or set up a time that works for you, we encourage you to contact your child’s teacher(s) directly to set something up for an alternative date. Take this opportunity to get updates on your child’s progress!

* Parent-Teacher Conferences will be from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The last entry to the building will be 5:30 PM.

We look forward to meeting with parents and students at conferences!

Thank you for your continuous support.

Respectfully,

HST will open tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov 29th.

Our campus has been cleared from the City of Houston Boil Water Notice. Out of an abundance of caution, please have your scholar bring bottled water to school. Thank you!

Dear Families,

We are thankful!

As we prepare to take a short break from school for Thanksgiving, we want to express our gratitude to everyone who makes it possible for students to come to school every day, on time and ready to learn. We thank:

●       Our students and families for making daily attendance a priority. This habit of attendance will help them do well in the classroom.

●       Our wonderful teachers pour their energy into making each classroom an exciting place for exploration and knowledge.

●       Our support staff and community volunteers who provide the extra hands and attention for our children’s needs.

We appreciate each one of you so much. We look forward to seeing you after the Thanksgiving holiday. Our campus will close from November 21-25, 2022. We will reopen Monday, November 28th at 7:00 a.m.

We especially appreciate everyone’s efforts to avoid taking extra days off during the Thanksgiving holiday. Just a few missed days here and there, even if they’re excused absences, can add up to too much lost learning time and leave your child behind in school. This is as true in kindergarten as it is in high school.

Sincerely,

Mr. Huseyin Topcu

Queridas familias,

¡Estamos agradecidos!

Sinceramente,

Mr. Huseyin Topcu
