Summer Food Service Program Helps Children Stay Active, Healthy

Summer meal sites offer nutritious meals at no cost for children 18 years old and younger.
Use these three tools from June 1-August 30 to find a summer meal site in Texas:
• Dial 2-1-1 to speak to a live operator
• Visit for an interactive site locator map
• Text FOODTX or COMIDA to 877-877
Sites can be found at locations such as recreation centers, parks, community areas,
apartment communities, and church facilities.
Many sites offer enriching activities and serve various combinations of meals including
breakfast, lunch, snacks and even supper.
